Virtual Assistants. The Arts industry. Theatre

The Arts VA is a small team, of specially selected Virtual Assistants, with over 10 years experience working in arts administration.

We provide a bespoke service to the arts industry, supporting creative individuals and businesses from all sectors, including but not limited to, theatre, performing arts, design, music and writing.

We are the go-to VAs for the arts because we're passionate about creating time for the people and things you love. We take care of the time-consuming admin tasks to enable our clients to focus on what they really want to be doing.

Meet The Team

Hi, I'm Charlie.

I started The Arts VA, in 2018, after 8 years at Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, where I worked on West End and international productions of Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Hamilton, Mary Poppins, Barnum, and more.

I have over 10 years experience working in the arts industry, a First Class B.A. Honours Degree in Drama and Performance, and a Masters in Producing Musical Theatre.

As a VA, I have created a working week where I have the flexibility to balance a phone call with a client, the school run, marketing my business and a coffee with a friend. I feel grateful that my  family can benefit from having me at home, and I can continue working in an industry I love with brilliant, creative people.

Hi, I’m Jenny.

I have a B.A. Honours Degree in English Literature, and before having my little boy in 2019, I spent 10 years working for various theatre production companies and theatres.

For 6 of these years I was at Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, where I worked on West End and international productions of Les Misérables, Mary Poppins, Hamilton, Phantom of the Opera, Barnum, Half a Sixpence and Miss Saigon.

From the first time I went to the theatre to see Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at age 7, I have always been passionate about theatre, and combined with my love of organisation, lists and spreadsheets, being a VA for the arts is my dream job.

Hi, I’m Dawn-Louise.

After many years of commuting to London, I finally decided to embark on VA work in 2020.

My PA/EA background consists of 15+years’ experience, predominantly based within the creative and legal sectors. I’ve worked in Theatre, Television and Music. I spent 11+ years working at The Really Useful Group and loved being involved in notably some of the best West End productions, including The Phantom of The Opera, Matilda, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph, Evita & Cats.

Previously, I worked at Celador Television & CPL Productions on exciting TV formats, such as “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”, “Married at First Sight” and “A League of Their Own”.

It certainly helps to have a love of the Arts/Creative world and it’s so fulfilling to be able to combine my experience and passion within such industries. Working remotely also helps me to strike a more work/life balance, whilst looking after my energetic puppy Monty!

Hi, I'm Rahima.

I ventured into the VA world at the beginning of COVID when I was looking to work remotely so I could work from any part of the world.

I have over 15 years of experience working across a broad range of professional industries including as a PA/ office manager, administrator, events, travel and customer service and in the Arts. I have also completed a VA mastery course to set me on my path to working virtually in 2020.

I have been part of the performance world since I was a child, studying performing arts and dance in college in London and then working for over 5 years in Barcelona, Los Angeles and London, in both the theatre and screen, working in between at ATG and Delfont Mackintosh Theatres.

For myself, art in all of its forms will always be a big part of my life, and I am grateful to combine it with admin, working as an Arts VA.
