Wow it's been a tough year for the Arts! Thankfully, the industry is gradually getting back on its feet and we're thrilled that there are so many shows in the pipeline for this year.
We're also excited to announce the launch of The Arts VA's new blog. We’ll be posting every Thursday and with so much going on in the theatre world, we’re going to be sharing lots of useful information and advice to help you through this busy time.
Here’s five things to look out for in the coming weeks:
1. Meet The Arts VA team
Founded by Charlie in 2018, we’re a small team of VAs with over 10 years' experience working in theatre administration on West End and international productions such as Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera and Mary Poppins. Learn more about how The Arts VA started and how we’ve grown in the last three years.
2. What is a Virtual Assistant?
Ever wondered what a virtual assistant does? You wouldn’t be alone as we’ve discovered that lots of people have no idea! Our blog post will shed some light on what a VA is; how different is it to a traditional PA/in-house administrator, what tasks you can give a virtual assistant and how many hours you may need.
3. Who We Help
In a series of blog posts, we’ll talk about the type of clients we work with and explain how you can benefit from the knowledge and experience of The Arts VA. We want to hear about your struggles, whether you’re a freelance designer who finds negotiating your deals stressful or a production manager struggling to keep on top of your inbox. We’ll also include case studies from some of our current clients.
4. Expert Advice
Now the theatre world is getting back on its feet, we’ll use our expertise to give helpful tips; from guidance on how to handle deal negotiations and tips for managing inbox stress at this busy time, to our favourite online tools to keep on top of your business admin and how to stay on top of your budgets.
5. The Arts News
Each week, we’ll share information about events happening in the theatre industry. This will include opening nights, job opportunities as well as exciting industry news.
