Rahima... Meet The Arts VA Team

Updated: Mar 5, 2023

It’s been a while since we introduced you to another member of The Arts VA team, so this week’s blog is all about our VA, Rahima.

Question mark made out of wooden blocks

What was your first job?

I worked in Burger King. It was nothing exciting, but it was located in the West End, so it was easy to get to theatreland!

I wanted to be a singer/actor when I was a child.

When did you know you wanted to work in the arts?

When I was 11 and it was the first day of drama class in secondary school. I remember playing a little old lady and just felt like I found my home!

What was the first production you went to see at the theatre?

I went to see Cats the Musical.

What’s your favourite theatre memory?

It was when I went to watch Idina Menzel as Elphaba in Wicked. She was incredible.

What do you like the most about being a VA?

I love helping my clients have a more organised system – it always feels like such a relief!

What do you like to do on a weekend?

I enjoy going hiking and playing tennis, but I also like going for brunch and a cheeky mimosa!
