How a VA Can Refocus Your Business

Updated: Jan 18, 2023

The start of a new year can often bring change, new goals and a chance to refocus. Maybe you’re thinking about how you can further your business in 2023? Whether it’s giving the support you need to change the direction of your business or the time to grow it further, here’s how a VA can help you get the best out of your business.

Control your busy inbox

While you may be eager to grow your business, you can easily get distracted by a busy inbox overflowing with unread emails. This is where a VA can step in and take away some of that stress and overwhelm for you.

A VA can label and file away your emails and and then manage your inbox for you, reading and responding to emails and flagging up important emails to help you prioritise which ones need dealing with first. This will allow you to spend more time on the work you want to be doing rather than replying to emails.

Manage your social media accounts

Done right, social media can be a great marketing tool for a business as it’s a good way of making connections with your clients/customers/audience.

However, social media can slip to the bottom of the to-do list for most business owners and being inactive or inconsistent and not replying to messages could have a negative effect on your business.

Let a VA create content for you, reply to messages and comments and this will ensure you are consistent on your platforms, which can generate new business and help you grow it further.

Schedule your meetings and manage your diary

If your work regularly involves having meetings and taking calls, you can spend a lot of your time going back and forth setting them up and finding out availability of others.

VAs can do this for you and help you manage your calendar efficiently so you avoid clashes and conflicting appointments. A virtual assistant can remind you about important appointments and make sure you have enough time to get from one meeting to the next.

Reduce operational expenses

To help grow or refocus your business, you will probably need some support but investing in a team can feel scary. VAs are independent professionals rather than employees, so this means there’s no additional payments like sick pay, holiday pay, NI, etc.

There’s also no overheads like office equipment and tech to pay out for. This means, hiring a VA can reduce your company’s costs and you could invest this money in other areas of your company, such as marketing.
